Project and Support Manager (m/f/d)
By evaluating requirements and business problems, determine IT strategies, policies, and solutions that deliver projects on schedule and within budget. In collaboration with stakeholders, define project goals, plans and schedules to meet those goals You accomplish IT project results by planning, coordinating, and signing off tasks in a cross-functional team of business representatives, IT development and quality assurance. Ensure a quality service by enforcing organization standards and managing system integration and user acceptance tests. Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports and meetings to keep your stakeholders and sponsors informed about progress, outlook and issues. Coaching and counseling employees towards achievement of individual and team objectives. Direct and coordinate a team of help desk specialists Prioritize IT-related problems as they come in to Help Desk and escalate when necessary Assign problems/tasks to IT specialists of the 2nd and 3rd level of support Analyze situations and determine resources needed to solve them Identify tech support problem areas (i.e., negative trends) and, if warranted, implement corrective actions
Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of IT development and service-desk administration Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the project teams Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget Independent work ethic of being proactive and showing initiative, positive "can-do" attitude Fluent command in English (written and spoken)
